Los Angeles wildfires: 'It looks like a nuclear bomb has been dropped'

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said it was not safe to reach many areas severely affected by the fires.
Los Angeles County Chief Law Enforcement Officer Robert Luna expressed concern that the death toll from the fires could rise. He said that the number of people killed in the fires so far has been five. However, this number of deaths will definitely change.

Speaking about the devastation caused by the wildfires that have spread across Los Angeles, Robert Luna said, "...(It feels like) a nuclear bomb has been dropped on these areas."
Asked whether the fires will increase, Robert Luna said he is praying that they will not.
However, Robert Luna said, 'I don't expect good news.'

According to a Reuters report, the fires in Los Angeles, known as the center of the entertainment world, began on Tuesday. The city is burning in the most devastating fire in history. As of Thursday, six separate fires had broken out there. The fire is spreading rapidly in a storm with winds of up to 150 kilometers per hour.

Three of the six separate fires are completely out of control, the fire service said. Nearly 200,000 residents of Los Angeles have been told to evacuate to safety. Shelters have been set up in various areas.
